Winter Wonderscape

Experience the magic of the holidays at Reiman Gardens’ Winter Wonderscape in Ames. This enchanting outdoor walk-through holiday light show featuring more than 150,000 lights illuminates the gardens, creating a festive atmosphere that’s perfect for family outings and holiday memories.

The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings in December. 

As you wander through the 17-acre gardens, you’ll be greeted by a variety of immersive light displays. Marvel as you walk through sparkling tunnels, fantasy lights falling like stars, and massive disco balls twirling to laser lights.

Children will be delighted by lighted sculptural forms, including Peter Rabbit in the Edible Garden and the glowing cubes and orbs that they can stack and play with. The Campaniling kissing polar bears and lighted tulips add a touch of whimsy to the experience.
