Winter Play Day

Tired of being cooped up this winter? Then get outside and discover how amazing nature can be during the chilly winter months. Join Naturalist Bobbi Donovan at the Story County Conservation Center in McFarland Park on Saturday, Jan. 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for a fun-filled afternoon out in the snow building fortifying shelters and exploring the woods.

Get registered for this remarkable afternoon outdoors by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2. It’s only $5 per group! Don’t forget to dress warmly and be sure to bring a mug for hot chocolate. We will likely go off trails and into the woods during this program.
