Wild Women of the Woods
Registration is now open for one of Story County Conservation’s biggest programs of the year: Wild Women of the Woods. Wild Women of the Woods is a two-day event taking place on Friday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 16 designed to give women (18 years or older) the opportunity to explore the outdoors, learn or improve skills, and connect with women with similar interests. Practice your aim with archery, test your balance with stand-up paddle boarding, sketch the beauty of nature, learn about plants, spiders, and bats – and so much more! This event will take place at Hickory Grove Park.
Registration for this event has opened recently and will fill up fast, so you’ll want to register ASAP! Registration forms must be submitted via mail or dropped off in person. For more info about registration, click here.
