The Pumpkin Express

Climb aboard for a trip to the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad’s pumpkin patch, Oct. 5, 12, and 19. At the patch, kids hop off the train and select that perfect pumpkin. Then, pumpkins in hand, you’ll settle back for the return trip to Boone.

On your journey, you will cross the 156-foot-tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge, as well as the Des Moines River Bridge.

Tickets for this year’s Pumpkin Express trains are on sale NOW. These trains depart at 10 a.m. Please arrive at the depot one hour prior to departure time. Trains cannot be held for late arrivals.
