The Pumpkin Express
Arrive in costume (not required, but encouraged), and take a train ride to the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad’s Pumpkin Patch, where children will select their perfect pumpkin before re-boarding the train for the return trip to Boone.
- Cross the 156′ tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge, as well as the Des Moines River Bridge.
- Once children have picked out the perfect pumpkin and climbed back aboard, the train returns to town.
- The journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- These trains depart at 10:00 am.
- Please arrive at the depot one hour before departure time. Trains cannot be held for late arrivals.
