Story Theater Company presents Romeo and Juliet
STC’s Annual Teen Show: Performing March 31 – April 2
- March 31 and April 1: 7 p.m.
- April 2: 2 p.m.
In fair Verona, two powerful families face bloodshed and tragedy as Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet fall deeply in love. Filled with swordplay, wit, and romance, this classic tale is one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. The script has been adapted by Brad Dell.
Story Theater Company’s annual teen show is an intensive experience where the participants form a theater company to create a production. With the guidance of an adult director and three design mentors, the teens not only act in the show, but are also responsible for all sets, costumes, props, lights, dramaturgy, music, and stage management.
In general, rehearsals will be Tue/Wed/Thu evenings and Saturday morning (workshop time), beginning mid-January (exluding spring break week).
