Sogetsu Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arrangements

“Learn modern Japanese floral art using everyday materials. Create elegant arrangements to take home. No experience needed!
Discover the art of Sogetsu Ikebana, a modern Japanese approach to Japanese flower arranging that values creativity, balance, and personal expression. Sogetsu emphasizes “using what you have,” encouraging students to work with everyday materials, seasonal flowers, and natural elements found around them. In this class, students will learn basic Sogetsu principles and techniques while creating simple, elegant arrangements—and each student will take their finished arrangement home. No prior experience is necessary.
