Ames RAGBRAI entertainment
A daylong party in Ames, with thousands of our closest bicycle-riding friends! Head to downtown Ames for all the excitement: Food trucks, two stages, beer tents, and more. Arena band Hairball headlines on the main stage at 8:30 p.m.!
Called a “bombastic celebration of arena rock,” Hairball is like 20 concerts in one night. The lights, sound, smoke, fire, bombs, and screaming fans is a rock’n’roll experience you won’t soon forget. Hairball is part of the weeklong RAGBRAI 2023 Concert Series across the state of Iowa.
Entertainment begins at 2 p.m. on two downtown stages:
First National Bank Stage
- Great Caesar’s Goat – 2-3:30 p.m.
- Foxpin – 4:30-6 p.m.
- Buckmiller/Schwager Band – 7-8:30 p.m.
- The Cherrypickers – 9-11 p.m.
Main Stage
- Danny Grause – 2-3 p.m.
- Stranger than Fiction – 3:30-5 p.m.
- Burnin’ Sensations – 6-8 p.m.
- Hairball – 8:30-10:30 p.m.
