Quilt Show

Friday and Saturday, March 20 & 21, 9 AM – 5 PM.
Sunday, March 22, 9 AM – 4 PM

Reiman Gardens and the Iowa Quilters Guild will be hosting the three-day show which encourages the art of quilting through beautiful displays of garden-themed quilts created by talented Midwesterners. This show will award prizes from central Iowa sponsors in several categories, including Big & Small, Garden Theme: We’ve got the biggest bulbs of them all!, and Big Sacrifices. Vendors demonstrating, displaying and selling fabric art will also be available. Come experience the quilts along with 17 acres of living beauty throughout the Gardens, the indoor tropical Conservatory, and our enchanting Butterfly Wing.

No preregistration required. Attendance is free for members and ISU students. Price of admission for the general public.

  • Bringing major events that draw tens of thousands of people to our community including Boys State Basketball and Campustown Showdown
  • Attending national trade shows and conferences to find new opportunities of events to bring to Ames
  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

Advocating
for Our Community

  • Funding feasibility studies for local projects
  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
