Picnic in the Park

Spend the evening connecting with other families and/or individuals in the community while enjoying dinner in the outdoors. Story County Conservation will provide the ingredients to roast hot dogs and make s’mores over the fire. Participants are encouraged to bring a side dish to share if they would like to. Bring your own dishware and water bottle. Grab your favorite picnic blanket and get ready for a delicious summer celebration!

Please dress for the weather. Hotdogs, buns, toppings, s’mores are provided. This program will take place behind the nature center at McFarland Park. Participants will need to travel a short distance through mowed grass to get to the fire ring.
