Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk

This will be the 5th year of the annual Out of the Darkness Walk hosted by ISU Student Counseling Services in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Staff, faculty, students and community members will gather to raise awareness about suicide prevention and learn about mental health resources. This FREE event will feature music, a resource fair, face painting, and coffee and baked goods available for purchase from The Bell Bottom Cafe and the Piece and Freedom Bakery. Our featured speakers will be Brian and Janelle Meyer who will be honoring the life of their son Griffin.

The 4k walk through ISU’s historic campus will start at the Campanile South Lawn. Register to walk at https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/IowaState
