Noon Year’s Eve

An outdoor adventure is the perfect way to celebrate the final days of 2022 and start a new year off right! This fun-filled event is being held at Oriole Ridge Lodge in Hickory grove Park on Friday, Dec. 30. Starting at 11 a.m. there will be many nature activities set up for the whole family to explore together. Right before noon everyone will gather together for a countdown to a noon birdseed toss and a grape juice toast. The celebration will wrap up with hot chocolate and s’mores around a campfire. Don’t forget to dress warmly and bring a mug for the hot chocolate. This event ends at 12:30 p.m. Registration is due by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27 and includes a minimal fee of $10 per group. For accessibility, activities will be set up either in a flat area directly in front of the lodge or inside the lodge. There is a gravel driveway from the parking lot that leads up to the lodge.
