Monarch Mania

Come celebrate one of the world’s greatest animal migrations by helping with a community science project! We will learn about the amazing journey monarch butterflies embark on every fall. Participants will help with research by catching, tagging and releasing monarch butterflies. This community science project is fun for all ages and abilities!

*Accessibility: There is a concrete path around this park that can be used to catch butterflies.

Free event, but must register online by September 17, 2025.

  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
