Lecture: Notable Women in Ames History
This presentation by Kathy Svec will introduce you to a group of remarkable women from different time periods of Ames history. Some names will be familiar, but others may be completely new to audience members. Capable, brave and visionary, these individuals with their unique talents had a profound impact on our community, on our state and – for some – their efforts resonated nationally. They were leaders, marking a path for others to follow. Taken as a group, they cannot help but inspire!
