KHOI presents The Weary Ramblers
KHOI presents a concert featuring The Weary Ramblers on Tuesday, June 18 at 7 p.m. to raise funds for KHOI Community Radio. The concert will be held at Stephens Auditorium and kicks off KHOI’s summer fundraising drive. Newly formed Iowa folk duo, Weary Ramblers bring years of experience to the stage with award-winning songwriting and chemistry. Chad Elliott and Kathryn Fox showcase multi-instrumental performances with tight harmonies and great storytelling.
“We are so excited to feature this incredible duo who are sharing their talents in support of local community radio station, KHOI FM. We share many of the same values of community with Chad and Kathyrn,” said KHOI board chair, Lynne Carey. “Like all community radio stations, KHOI FM relies nearly exclusively on donations from listeners, and area businesses and organizations. A successful concert fundraiser is a necessary component of keeping the airwaves humming with local voices.”
General admission tickets are $20, and two ticket packages with reserved seating in the first 11 rows are also being offered: $45 VIP package includes a seat in the reserved section and show poster and the $100 premium VIP package includes a seat in premium section, one pass to Songwriting Stories Session with The Weary Ramblers, snacks and autographed show poster. The premium VIP package is limited to 25 people.
