Iowa PGA Spring Pee Wee Open
The Iowa PGA Pee Wee Spring Open will be held on April 18, 2026 at Ames Golf & Country Club

Start Time: Approximately 3 p.m. off #1 – Pee Wees will follow Juniors
Format:
9-hole stroke play for boys and girls 8-13
6-hole stroke play for boys and girls 7 & Under
Tee Assignments:
Boys 12-13 will play the GOLD Tees
Boys 10-11 & Girls 12-13 will play the WHITE Tees
Boys 8-9 and Girls 8-11 will play modified Iowa PGA LIME Tees
Boys and Girls 7 & Under will play modified Iowa PGA AQUA Tees
Yardages will be approximately as follows:
8-9 Year Olds will play:
Par 3’s at 100-125 yds.
Par 4’s at 250-275 yds.
Par 5’s at 275-300 yds.
7 & Under will play:
Par 3’s at 75-100 yds.
Par 4’s at 175-200 yds.
Par 5’s at 225-250 yds.
Players should always be checked in at the registration table and ready to go on their tee 10 minutes prior to their tee times.

Entry fee includes golf, warm up range balls,and awards for top 3 in each division.
RANGE FINDERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT MUST BE USED FOR MEASURING DISTANCE ONLY. PLAYERS WILL BE PENALIZED IF THEIR USE OF A RANGEFINDER IS FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DISTANCE. THE FIRST USE OF A BANNED RANGEFINDER FUNCTION WILL RESULT IN TWO STROKE PENALTY, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT USE DURING THAT ROUND WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER’S DISQUALIFICATION.
ALL OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED IN GOLF BAG AND ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING PLAY. SUCH DEVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CELL PHONES, IPODS, ETC.
Refunds will only be given until April 14, 2026. There will be a $5 processing fee for cancellations – for ANY REASON. If you choose to cancel and accrue credit to your account, you may use these funds for a future tournament, during the current season. If funds are not used, they will be donated to the Iowa PGA Foundation – Burkart Scholarship.
