Who ya gonna call?! 👻🚫 Your movie buddy, ‘cause we’ve got an event for you! Join us at The Parc for a special showing of the original “Ghostbusters” on Friday, September 18.

🎬 Movie starts at 7:45 PM | Food trucks open at 7 PM
👻 7 to 8 PM | Snap a picture with a replica of the iconic 1959 ECTO-1 Cadillac courtesy of our friends at Mid Iowa Ghostbusters
🍧 Enjoy dinner and dessert from Main Street Café & Bakery and Ice Lab
🍿 Grab drinks and popcorn from Dirty Fuel
🎥 Don’t forget to bring chairs and blankets to make yourself cozy

This is our LAST event of the season so if you’ve been wanting to visit The Parc, now’s the time.

  • Awarding $100K+ in Community Grants each year to support local events
  • Outreach to youth through career fairs and presentations
  • Educating local businesses and leaders on how we can help and what we do
  • Coordinating and leading Hotel & Attraction Council to keep them informed and up to date

Events & Opportunities

  • Bringing major events that draw tens of thousands of people to our community including Boys State Basketball and Campustown Showdown
  • Attending national trade shows and conferences to find new opportunities of events to bring to Ames
  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

Advocating
for Our Community

  • Funding feasibility studies for local projects
  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
