Imaginations will come to life while creating paper sculptures inspired by the Iowa landscape. Artist Mary Merkel-Hess is inspired by the beautiful natural environments of Iowa. Families can explore her works of art in the inaugural installment of University Museums’ Midwest Maker Series and participate in educational crafts and activities designed by Iowa State University elementary education major Miranda Geest. No admission fee or registration required. Activities are geared for grades K-5; all are welcome! Stop by any time during the three-hour window, while supplies last. Free parking.
