Evening Walks on the Prairie
Join Dr. Tom Rosburg for a prairie walk at Doolittle Prairie, Story County’s largest prairie remnant. See rare and common prairie flora, and learn about the history and ecology of central Iowa’s prairies. These walks are free and no registration is required.
Walks will take place the third Tuesday of the month:
May 20 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM
June 17 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM
July 15 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM
August 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM
September 16 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM (Note: earlier time due to sunset)
