Dog-Eared Presents Birding English

Calling all bird-enthusiasts and word-nerds: Dog-Eared is excited to host Ames-local Jeremy Withers following the release of his book, Birding English: Exploring the History of a Language through 50 Birds. Birding English combines a love for birding with a rigorous exploration of linguistic history in 50 mini essays. Each essay is devoted to a specific bird; some as common as the Canada Goose, and some of the rarer variety, such as the extinct Dodo.

This event is free to attend but does require an RSVP below. Additionally, you can purchase a copy of the book for pick-up at the event https://dogearedbooksames.com/dog-eared-presents-birding-english/
