Chasing Twilight Lanterns
Experience the magic of fireflies with us at the twilight lantern hunt! We will start with a brief introduction about fireflies, their habitats, and the best techniques for catching them safely and responsibly. Then, armed with jars, we will spread out across the park to chase and collect fireflies. As the night deepens, we will gather back at the entrance to release our fireflies. Please bring a flashlight.
The program will be held at the Tedesco Environmental Learning Corridor; meet at the picnic tables near the entrance.
