Central Iowa Symphony concert

In this concert, titled Chuckles and Laughs, the Central Iowa Symphony features Carlee Carpenter, Allie Pauly, Daniel J. Krumm, and music director and conductor Eric McIntyre. The concert conversation begins at 6:45 p.m.

The conductor says: “An orchestral performance … can be an excuse for ridiculous fun, and that’s exactly where we are going with our December concert. Come prepared to enjoy cheery tunes and silly spectacles as the Central Iowa Orchestra takes a walk on the wild side. We embark on this jocular journey with the levity of a Rossini overture but take a quick, clownish turn with the music featuring cats, typewriters, and a garden hose!”
