Excitement is brewing for the second annual Campustown Showdown presented by MaxAg and supported by Discover Ames in Ames, Iowa! 🎉
Taking the streets of Campustown April 24-25, 2026, our unique cattle show will feature a Grand Drive event where exhibitors are vying for cash prizes and the opportunity to show their top market beef and breeding heifer cattle in the streets of Campustown on Welch Avenue. This event is more than just a cattle show—it celebrates Iowa’s leadership in agriculture, innovation, and community.
Join the fun and experience the fashion show presented by Western Edge, shop your favorite vendors, listen to live music, and see cattle in the streets of Campustown! With experiences designed to captivate audiences of all backgrounds, the Campustown Showdown offers a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the beef industry. 🤠🐮

  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC

  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
