Busload of Books

Join children’s book author and illustrator team Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr at Ames Public Library Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Ames Public Library auditorium as part of their Busload of Books tour. Robbi and Matthew will talk about writing and illustrating books. Some of their books include the beautiful picture book “Everywhere, Wonder” and hilarious chapter book “Ben Yokoyama and the Cookie of Doom.”

This year, Robbi and Matthew, along with their four children and dog, are living in a school bus while traveling to every state in the U.S. Their Busload of Books tour is “a yearlong project to promote literacy and raise awareness of the challenge’s facing our nation’s public schools.”
