Bonsai Show

Reiman Gardens and the Iowa Bonsai Association (IBA) welcome you to their annual Bonsai show. Bonsai is a horticultural art form going back hundreds of years. In recent years, this art form has grown in western popularity.

The theme of the 2023 Iowa Bonsai Association show is “Bonsai: Create, Develop, and Refine.” On formal display will be some of Iowa’s finest Bonsai trees, stands, Suiseki, and accents. You will also find Bonsai-related items for sale at our bazaar tables. IBA members will be on hand for tours and to answer any questions. Saturday there will be demonstrations in the courtyard, and then from 1 p.m. through 3 p.m., there will be a moderated theater-style educational demonstration on creative styling, development, and refinement. Sunday from 10 a.m. through noon there will be demonstrations under the tent in the courtyard, weather permitting.
