Bandshell Block Party

Join us for a Cy-Hawk Eve Pep-Rally featuring the Iowa State University Wind Ensemble and the Iowa State University Cyclone Football ‘Varsity’ Marching Band!! This family-friendly event will feature two outstanding ensembles sharing the stage for a one-of-a-kind event you won’t want to miss! Bandshell Park will be full of food trucks (for purchase), Cyclone Marching Band merchandise, Bounce houses, Face Painting and Balloon Animals! Best of all – this event is totally free! Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a night of family entertainment and fun! Go Cyclones!

  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
