Amphibians at Reiman Gardens

Kids, learn about frogs and toads in this interactive program!

Join Education Assistant and amphibian enthusiast Cat Reyes Phelps for supervised field herping* at Reiman Gardens! In this education program, students will learn about amphibian needs, habitats, and threats, design a small paper terrarium to house a pretend amphibian, and practice safely and respectfully catching frogs and toads at Reiman Gardens.

*Herping is the act of searching for amphibians or reptiles.

Best for children ages 6-12. Please note: parents will drop off youth for this program. Preregistration with prepayment is required.
