Ames High Choral Concert

Ames High School Choirs welcomes Ames Chamber Artists and Professor Emeritus Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff as special guests for their winter concert Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the beautiful new Ames High auditorium. The program includes music from Germany, the British Isles, Haiti, and the U.S., with genres spanning classical to jazz. Selections feature harp, tuba, flute, percussion, and piano. Ames High choir directors from 1987 to the present will be recognized. The performance will conclude with a mass choir piece originally commissioned for Ames High Choirs in 1990 and conducted by Dr. Schwartzhoff. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and $10 family max. Join us for this special evening of choral music!
