Join resident Absinthe expert Darian for an evening with the Green Fairy, celebrating the March 5th, 2007 repeal of the ban on absinthe in the United States.
We’ll have a traditional absinthe fountain, featured specialty absinthe cocktails, and great vibes~
History: In 2000, research scientist T. A. Breaux became the first to analyze antique samples of the absinthe, recovered from bottles thought lost to time. This research exonerated absinthe and provided the basis for a petition to the TTB to repeal what had been an effective 95-year ban on absinthe in the United States. This repeal was finally granted on March 5th, 2007, the day LUCID Absinthe Supérieure, crafted by T.A. Breaux, was approved for US distribution.
London Underground proudly carries three absinthes crafted by T.A. Breaux: Lucid Absinthe Supérieure, Jade Nouvelle-Orléans, and Jade Esprit Edouard.
