About the Community Jazz Center of Greater Des Moines
Since 1988, the Community Jazz Center of Greater Des Moines has supported jazz music in Iowa through educational programs, performance opportunities, and community outreach. Through initiatives such as the CJC Big Band and student jam sessions, the organization continues its mission of preserving and strengthening the region’s jazz tradition.
