As a Discover Ames business development specialist, Danielle will focus on the association market to secure conferences and events for the Ames area. She is the former development director for the Alzheimer’s Association in Des Moines and previously served as director of business development for the Des Moines Muscular Dystrophy Association. She holds a degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Danielle describes Ames as “a cozy city that has the charm of a small town yet offers everything you could need or want.” She is a huge Disney fan, with annual passes for Walt Disney World. She has a husband named Dustin, a son named Lincoln, and a dog named Wicket. Her family enjoys sports; they have season tickets to Cyclone football and basketball and were KC Chiefs fans “even before they started winning.” She is excited to meet new people and help them bring their events to Ames.
