Dan Ramthun

Beginning in late January 2023, Dan Ramthun became the new director of business and administration for Discover Ames. His responsibilities include financial management, administration, and HR. Dan’s background is in accounting (most recently with Krist Insurance Services) as well as in hospitality (as general manager for several Midwest hotels). Dan has also served as a supervisor for security personnel and ushers at Hilton Coliseum, Sukup End Zone, and Stephens Auditorium.
