Amanda Ruckdaschel, event planner, helps clients of ISU Conference Planning & Management plan from beginning to end. Her ISU career started in catering, but her event management experience goes back to her first job after college where she worked with Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa. Amanda joined the Conference Planning & Management team in 2019 to pursue her love of seeing an event come together after a lot of good old-fashioned hard work.
A great Ames memory: I’m new to Cyclone tailgating, but my first one was in 2018 for the (short-lived) ISU vs SDSU game, which was a lot of fun … at least before it started pouring rain! But even though we ended up drenched and walking down Lincoln Way, it was a great memory.
