Departure Information

Click HERE to view Sunday departure times. If your flight is delayed, you will remain on the your currently assigned shuttle. 

Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your shuttle leave time. The shuttle will leave at the time that’s posted. Upon arrival, check-in at the Discover Ames table so we know you have arrived. 

Times are listed in alphabetical order by last name of the person that registered your group. 

Pick up will be outside on the south side of the ISU Memorial Union on campus. If you are in dorms and not within walking distance to the Memorial Union, CyRide will be running from 1:30 am – 12:16 pm in order to bring people from university housing to the Memorial Union. As a reminder, these are on a 15-20 minute loop so please plan accordingly to get to the Memorial Union on time for your shuttle. 

If you are in a hotel, you’ll need to find a ride to the Memorial Union.

  • Bringing major events that draw tens of thousands of people to our community including Boys State Basketball and Campustown Showdown
  • Attending national trade shows and conferences to find new opportunities of events to bring to Ames
  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

  • Funding feasibility studies for local projects
  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
