Yulefest Tree Lighting

Story City continues its long-standing tradition of featuring a large Christmas tree in the middle of Broad Street with a tree lighting ceremony during its Yulefest celebration on Friday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.

The beloved holiday tradition started in 1914 when Story City became one of the first municipalities to display a tree decorated with electric lights.
