The Santa Express

These trains feature assigned seating, and passengers in the same order are automatically seated together. When making a reservation, you can request to be seated with another party. Tickets go on sale November 1, and all passengers ages two and up require a ticket. The journey begins in Boone, travels to the North Pole, and returns, lasting approximately one hour and 15 minutes to one hour and 30 minutes. Along the way, the train crosses the impressive 156-foot-tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge. During the trip, Santa passes through the train to greet children and hand out a special gift.

First Class Coach offers constantly heated cars, a ceramic mug for each passenger, and a large bell for children. Santa visits this class first. Classic Coach Class features preheated cars, without the ceramic mug, and children receive a small bell.
