The Fashion Show

The Fashion Show 2026 is the largest student-run fashion show in the nation, taking place on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in C.Y. Stephens Auditorium at Iowa State University. The annual production draws nearly 2,500 attendees and showcases more than 100 original designs, created and produced entirely by Iowa State students. The event provides hands-on leadership and creative opportunities for students from all majors, with participants working across 16 committees to bring the production to life.

This year’s show will feature Aerie as the 2026 guest designer. Aerie, a brand of American Eagle Outfitters, is known for promoting body positivity and inclusivity through its comfortable, everyday style. Attendees will get an exclusive look at Aerie’s latest collection on the runway, modeled by Iowa State students.

 

Tickets must be purchased to attend.

  • Bringing major events that draw tens of thousands of people to our community including Boys State Basketball and Campustown Showdown
  • Attending national trade shows and conferences to find new opportunities of events to bring to Ames
  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

Advocating
for Our Community

  • Funding feasibility studies for local projects
  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
