Monday, April 17: Lunch & Learn
Lisa Bates and Sara Shonrock, ISU Extension community development specialists, will show you how you can participate in The Iowa Retail Initiative, a program designed to strengthen independent retail in Iowa communities, plus Grant Writing 101 for your community. Noon, Gates Hall, Nevada, lunch provided.
Wednesday, April 19: Sweet Oaks Bakery + Bistro
Come enjoy a cinnamon roll and coffee while you learn how Story County Extenstion can be #partofyourStory. 7-9 a.m., Collins
Friday, April 21: Family Movie Night
Families are invited to join us for a free showing of The Greatest Showman. Enjoy popcorn, and enter to win door prizes. 6:30 p.m., Story County Extension Office, Ames.
Saturday, April 22: Seed Giveaway
Bring your questions for Story County Master Gardeners, and take home some seeds to sow. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Repair Cafe, Ames Public Library
