Spice of Life Workshop

Herbs and spices have been used by different cultures for centuries for food, medicine/healing, preservation and even beauty treatments. Come explore some familiar and not so familiar herbs and spices!

Mamta Israni will be sharing her knowledge about various plants, herbs, and spices. She has over 35 years of experience as a creative curriculum designer, trainer, consultant, and educator. She teaches cooking classes, gardening classes and maintains her interest in plant biology through involvement in community gardening groups and as an active Master Gardener.

In this workshop, we will experience a variety of tastes and smells and learn about how we can use natural ingredients to enhance how we cook and live. Discover how to add some spice to your life!
