Silversonic is a Des Moines-based four-piece band playing a tasty range of Americana roots styles. They came together a few years ago to share and meld their sometimes similar, sometimes disparate tastes into a pleasing down-home stew:
Bobby Brown is a world traveller and drummer extraordinaire, and often found gigging around town in various jazz outfits including NOLA and Scott Davis.
Scott Cochran is a long-time Fender bassist and an Iowa Rock and Roll and Iowa Blues Hall of Famer, a veteran of many Central Iowa blues and rock outfits like Borderline and Matt Woods Band.
Rick Dressler on guitar, vocals, and lap steel is perhaps best known for many years with Iowa-based reggae band the Sundogs.
John Price is a talented roots guitarist and soulful vocalist who also plays with Johnny Reeferseed and the High Rollers.
Be it vintage blues, country, or a sampling of more contemporary songwriters, such as Dylan, Earle, and Zevon, the pot is always cooking!
