Science with Cyclones

Science with Cyclones is inspired by a famous program at The Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University – called the Flame Challenge – in which scientists craft engaging explanations of everyday, yet complex, scientific concepts that can draw in a young audience (for example, explaining what a flame is). Similarly, Science with Cyclones has science students from Iowa State University explaining concepts like “the science behind Spiderman,” “why do leaves change color?” and “why are zombies blue?” with interactive displays to explore.

Cy will attend and learn alongside guests!

This event will be held in the Garden Room.
