Reptile Zoo

Meet Cold-Blooded Redhead Lindsey McDermott and her reptiles/invertebrates. She will bring several lizards, snakes, arachnids, and more to the library to get up close and personal with attendees! Come and learn, discuss, and understand these cold-blooded animals.

This event is just one of this summer’s Terrific Tuesdays experiences for the whole family featuring professional entertainers. It’s supported by Ames Public Library Friends Foundation.

  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
