Lily Show

Lilies from Iowa and surrounding states plus a number of floral designs and photos will fill Reiman Gardens’ Events Hall with color and beauty as we host the Iowa Regional Lily Society’s (IRLS) Annual Lily Show again this year.

The day starts early with the IRLS cleaning and preparing the lily stems and assembling floral designs. Judging of the entries takes place from about 10 am to noon and then the show opens to the public, and the award winning lilies are placed at the head table for everyone to see and appreciate.

The IRLS Lily Show is held in a public place to expose and educate the general public about the various exotic colors, shapes and fragrance of lilies.

  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
