Larry Myer is one of the premier independent singer/songwriters touring America today. He has performed his truly original Americana show over 3000 times across North America, playing guitar and harmonica along with his trademark powerhouse vocals. He is also a winner of the Branson Songwriting Contest.
His recordings including the landmark “Flatlands” and “The Ring and other Ballads”. Both are classic underground folk/rock gems.
“The core of my career lies in the live shows and touring. I seem to enjoy that most.” Myer says, “The show belongs to the audience and it’s up to me to bring that together and connect. After more than thirty years of touring, I’ve played for about every type of group you can imagine. I see it as a chance to engage with the people for a shared experience. Regardless of the type of crowd or venue, I have a wide range of songs, stories, styles and skills to draw on. I just start out playing with soul and purpose and the show will unfold from there”.
