The Dynamics of White Supremacy in Central Iowa Before & After the Emancipation Proclamation

Join Charles Pearson, president/CEO of Pearson Consulting, for a discussion on the aftermath of generational racism in agriculture associated with one of the nation’s leading land-grant universities before and after the Civil War. Pearson will also discuss his plans to design and develop a “Central Iowa Civil War to Civil Rights” virtual tour and a City of Ames African American Heritage Trail system.
