Heartland of America Tour

A Union Pacific steam engine will depart on its “Heartland of America” tour on Aug. 28 from Cheyenne, Wyoming, and travel across Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. The locomotive will spend the night in Boone on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and travel through Ames on Thursday, Sept. 5 just after 9 a.m.

  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
