Heart of Iowa Nature Trail Bike Ride
Join us on August 9th as we celebrate 21 miles of continuous pavement now connecting all five communities across southern Story County! The Heart of Iowa Nature Trail now connects Slater, Huxley, Cambridge, Maxwell and Collins – a long-awaited milestone that officially opened this spring.
Pedal across Story County, enjoy a glimpse of small-town Iowa and scenic views of prairie, woodlands, and Iowa farmland.
Paving efforts over the last six years have created much anticipation, and we’re thrilled to celebrate!
