Film Screening of “Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf”
Experience the immersive documentary that follows legendary garden designer Piet Oudolf through the changing seasons. Known for designing the High Line and Battery Park City in New York City, and the Lurie Garden in Chicago, Oudolf’s “New Perennial” approach demonstrates how plants become an artist’s medium, forming living works of art that evolve throughout the year. As the mentor to Austin Eischeid (ISU ’11), designer of the Anderson Sculpture Garden’s A Moment in Time, Oudolf’s film offers a unique opportunity to connect what you see on screen with what’s growing on campus.
Seating is limited to the auditorium, 2155 Marston Hall, with seating of 180 people. Runtime: 1 hour, 10 minutes.
