Empty Bowls Fundraiser

Join us for the 2nd Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 5:30–8 p.m. at Collegiate United Methodist Church and Wesley Foundation (2622 Lincoln Way, Ames). Enjoy a soup supper with bread and homemade desserts, served in a handmade bowl by a local artist that you can keep as a reminder of hunger in our community.

This year’s event supports Gilbert Community School’s Backpack Buddies, ISU’s SHOP food pantry, and the Ames Schools’ HOPE Pantry. Tickets are $30 (cash/check in advance), $35 (online), or $40 (at the door, if available)—each helping feed a student for nearly a month. Purchase tickets at local outlets or online at www.amesart.org

  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
