Art Mart Holiday Pop-up Shop

The annual holiday art sale at the Memorial Union will be held December 2 through December 5 in the MU Art Gallery located on the 1st floor. Hours are Tuesday 4-7pm, Wednesday 11am-4pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, and Friday 11am-9pm (remaining open during WinterFest).

Featuring artists, makers, and crafters, our winter sale has something for everyone on your list! From budding creatives on campus to professional artists, you will find pottery, blown glass, jewelry, decor, accessories, and prints. Sales support individual artists, The Workspace, and the Gaffer’s Guild.

  • Bringing major events that draw tens of thousands of people to our community including Boys State Basketball and Campustown Showdown
  • Attending national trade shows and conferences to find new opportunities of events to bring to Ames
  • Providing top-tier service before, during and after each event

  • Funding feasibility studies for local projects
  • Helping advance tourism developments like CyTown and The LINC
  • Advocating for tourism with elected officials- Local & State
  • Driving converstations on a new Fieldhouse in Ames
  • Collaborating with Ames Alliance, iTIP, City of Ames, ISU & Visit Boone County
